These equipment are available at the on-site rental center which is on the first floor of the Red Tail Lodge. This resort is popular with teenagers. There are many kids too. Four-year-olds can take part in private or group ski lessons. Some very great instructors are patient and experienced in the art of skiing.

The budding snowboarders of ages 5 and below can take on-site lessons at the Riglet Park. Other great on-site features include a full arcade, a fire pit, a bowling alley, and a laser maze.

In consideration of mom and dad time, this resort has an on-site babysitting service which gives mommy some time to relax and unwind in this natural Icey view of the mountain. She can now get to even try out some skiing with peace of mind for once not having to worry about her baby. There are also video games, pizza parlors food courts and a snow tubing park.

There are crossing premium outlets that are nearby the Shawnee mountain resort where you can do some shopping. For those who are having so much fun and decide one day is not enough, you can spend the night at the lodgings available.

Blue Mountain

Blue is the color if the sky. Revelers at this Resort always yearn to reach the atmosphere from the high altitudes The Resort is 45 minutes from the New Jersey-Pennsylvania border. It is a worthy cause to undertake. The smaller and more intimate mountain allows you to bypass the crowds at larger venues and it is also a soft introduction for young kids and beginners.

This resort is a one-day visit zone. There are no on-site lodgings at the moment. Due to the growing demand of this resort and the fun it gives to its skiers, there is a plan to develop an accommodation in the future. There are family places that families can stay just nearby the Blue Mountain. E.g., the Lodge at Woodstone Country Club.
